Halo-Halo

Greetings 🌹 Everyone, do you know about the shaved ice dessert called "Halo-Halo"? 🍧 Yes, the one sold at Ministop! ✨ I was driving today, listening to the radio, and was surprised when they introduced "Halo-Halo" as a famous dessert from the Philippines! 😯 Wait, is Halo-Halo that thing from Ministop??? I thought it was just a Ministop product name?? I wondered! I looked it up later out of curiosity, and it turns out the Halo-Halo sold at Ministop is indeed a representative shaved ice dessert from the Philippines! 🍧 The word Halo-Halo means "mix-mix" in Tagalog, and in the Philippines, they apparently eat it by mixing all the ingredients together. By the way, while researching, I found it mentioned on the Japanese version of the Philippine Department of Tourism's website, and it seems there are also videos on the Japanese version of the Philippine Department of Tourism's YouTube channel showing how to make Halo-Halo. I was surprised to learn there's a Japanese website and YouTube channel for the Philippine Department of Tourism aimed at Japan! 😳✨
