What were some fun or deeply played games from the last (within 10 years)?
I'm thinking of getting back into console gaming after a long time. The last games I played were Monster Hunter Sunbreak and Double Cross, so in terms of new releases, it's been over 3 years. I wasn't playing many different games even before Sunbreak. However, I've started to feel like I'm missing out, and I want to try playing a variety of games if I'm going to do it. So, my question is, are there any games from recent years that you found fun or really got into? I'm planning to play Switch or Switch 2 software, but I'm also curious about PlayStation, so I'm not picky about the hardware.

Monster Hunter Wilds was fun, but I quit before the frequent crashing issues started. I quit because I was afraid of damaging my hardware. I even deleted my save data. Apparently, there are still crashing issues... I didn't realize that 'crash' didn't necessarily mean a forced app closure in Monster Hunter Wilds. I always thought crash = forced app closure, but some things would just act weirdly... I'd be willing to play again now, but I'm too scared to. Other 'stuck' games for me are Borderlands 4 and Cyberpunk 2077. I feel like I *should* finish them, but I just can't seem to get motivated (lol)

On the contrary, my Switch has become more of an interior decoration, and I'm looking for games that seem good 🤔 Right now I'm playing Tomodachi Collection (though I might get bored soon...) Here are some games I enjoyed! These are just off the top of my head 🥲 ・Xenoblade ・Stellar Blade (formerly Project: Eve, assuming 'Plugmata' is a typo/misremembering) ・Resident Evil series ・Rise of the Ronin ・FINAL FANTASY7 (Remake) ・Hogwarts Legacy ・Ghost of Tsushima ・Ghostwire: Tokyo
