This is where it really begins
I've equipped Wonder with a weapon exclusively for telekinetic abilities (because it permanently lowers defense) Is it the highlight timing, perhaps?

If your sustained damage is insufficient, you might want to set Messer's Revelation mainly for Berry's Breakthrough and Sorrow. By the way, the adds are susceptible to Forget, so I recommend that. For Forget, it's recommended to have Alice learn Makajamaon through Persona training. If accuracy is an issue, check the protagonist's schema or switch your weapon to Venom Fang. This allows you to focus on the boss while ignoring the adds.
