I'm feeling quite bothered...
Ladies, good day to you allð¹ I apologize for complaining about work... There's something that has been bothering me for a while. It seems the staff only go to talk to specific residents... The reasons given are: ã»They are difficult ã»I can't understand what they're saying ã»I'm not good at it in the first place ...I understand that we staff are human too, so I get it. But is it really okay to pick and choose who you interact with... We are professionals. Caregiving is the ultimate form of communication. Even if you can't understand what they're saying, just nodding along and saying 'Uh-huh,' or 'I see,' is enough. ...Still, it really catches my eye and bothers me. If your own family members were treated the same way, how would you feel? Could you just brush it off? I use this as a cautionary tale and learn from it every day.

I'm just passing by, but this made me feel a bit frustrated... For the residents, even if they can't communicate now, there was a time when they enjoyed conversations... When they need care and move into a facility, communication might be their only joy, but if the staff is limited or clearly shows dislike, it could be very difficult for the residents... Even if conversation is difficult, it made me reconsider the importance of interacting while considering the other person's feelings, even just a little...

So it does exist... The place I used to go was quite friendly, so maybe it was a good place. I think users would find it hard to trust staff who don't even talk to them, so please keep talking to them âºïž I think talking about random stuff is surprisingly important. Maybe I was the only one talking about random stuff though ðŠ

Greetings. I am likely performing a similar duty. Certainly, there are those who find it difficult. However, they might also find us difficult. At the very least, I wish we could start with greetings...
