A Wonderful Novelist

Greetings! Actually, something quite shocking happened yesterday. I enjoy reading books from many different genres. I'm fundamentally a person who loves happy endings. Because of that, I have several favorite novelists. Yesterday, while sharing book recommendations with a colleague from work, I thought, "Come to think of it, I haven't heard any news about a new release in my favorite series lately, have I?" So I looked it up... And found out that the author had already passed away. And it wasn't just a few years ago, but much longer! I was so shocked... I knew they were battling an illness from a comment I saw when I heard about a new release... The comment from their editor, which likened their journey to their representative series (like the one set on a luxury liner or the one featuring a jewelry designer as the protagonist), said, "A ticket arrived from beyond the rainbow bridge, and they set sail, drawing a trail of jewels." It brought tears to my eyes. Someday... someday, I'd love to take a cruise on a real luxury liner, carrying the author's books with me. I believe the protagonists who captivated me have warmly welcomed the author...
