9/30 World Translation Day

World Translation Day Commemorates the feast day of St. Jerome, who translated the Bible into Latin. At the request of the Pope, he unified the New Testament by translating it from Greek to Latin, and also translated the Old Testament from its Greek and Hebrew originals into Latin.
