The Recurring Illness ðð²ð
Hello everyone! ð¹ Lunchtime is almost over, but did you all enjoy your meals? As the title suggests, I haven't been able to eat lunch because of a recurring illness... That illness is... ãThe Chef's (My Own) Cooking Fatigue Syndrome, where I lose my appetite even when hungryã!!! My family says, "It's delicious ð¥°," so it's not like the taste is off, but I just don't find it very tasty~ðŠ I guess it's because I can imagine the taste without even eating it... There's nothing to be done until I get so hungry that I absolutely *have* to eat! ~ðŠ I have to go out again this evening, so this is quite a predicament ð« I guess I'll just have to hold regular mystery hot pot parties then... ðð²ð

Ah, it's because when you make it yourself, you know the taste. I've heard of this happening sometimes, and now I finally understand why ð My sense of taste is pretty rough, so that never happened to me. I also tended to be sloppy when cooking for myself... Being able to imagine the taste is proof that you've cooked for your family. However, I'm worried about an empty stomach, so please have a little something to tide you over âºïž

I understand. I also don't get hungry when I cook it myself. I start making it thinking 'I want to eat that,' but by the time I'm done, I've lost my appetite. I wonder if it's because the cooking smells stimulate my satiety center?

Greetings! I understand that feeling! I often find myself thinking, 'It's not inedible, but...' In those situations, relying on the corporate efforts of our predecessors is a good option! Using store-bought seasonings can give you the taste of 'a dish someone else made,' which is perfect for a palate cleanser!
