Visited Konpira-san!
I recently visited Kotohira-gu (Konpira-san) in Kotohira Town, Kagawa Prefecture! It's a shrine located on the middle slope of Mt. Zozu, famous for its yellow amulets (3rd pic). You need to climb "785 steps" from the Omotesando to reach the main shrine (1st pic). I tried counting each step, but I gave up halfway through (lol). It was cloudy on the day I visited, but you can get a panoramic view of the Sanuki Plain! (2nd pic) And along the stone steps, there's a shopping street (3rd pic). So you'll be climbing amidst many temptations (lol). Foodies, beware! (lol) (By the way, the "oiri" soft serve ice cream ðŠ was delicious!)

That staircase is pretty tough, isn't it? I could climb it a few times when I was younger, but I probably can't make it all the way up anymore...ð

Wow, that's great! I've heard of it, but I didn't know there was a yellow charm! The scenery looks amazing too, I'd love to visit someday (*ÂŽ èžïœ)
