Not only has pollen started flying recently, but the continuous rain has caused it to burst, making my hay fever even worse. Apparently, pollen bursts when it comes into contact with moisture, releasing allergens. Last year, thanks to scratching my left eye so much due to hay fever, my eyelid swelled up.
