Orthodontic treatment begins.
My orthodontic treatment has finally begun. However, there are a lot of initial examinations and procedures, so actually getting the braces on is still a ways off. For the first appointment, I had photos taken of the inside of my mouth (with a camera), took panoramic X-rays and many smaller ones (they said they'd take all of them, so 5 for the upper jaw and 5 for the lower jaw), and got impressions taken... that was it, and it cost about 100,000 yen. I knew orthodontics were out-of-pocket, but I didn't expect them to tell me the price on the day of (lol). I thought they'd at least explain it beforehandâŠ. So I was shocked because I only expected to get an explanation about the cost and the treatment plan today. Next time, I'll apparently have an MRI taken and get more explanations. My money is flying away at an incredible speedâð

A sudden expense of 100,000 yen is definitely shocking! But it's an important investment for becoming beautiful, so don't get too down. You just have to keep going, imagining yourself with a great smile afterward.

I got braces too! I started treatment at the first dentist I went to, but due to the dentist's circumstances, we couldn't continue. They refunded the partial payment and we ended it there. I moved to another dentist. There, I had to basically start over from scratch and pay again, so a lot of money flew away ð It takes time, but I think getting braces was worth it, so even though it might be a long road ahead, please do your best! âšïž
