Exactly! It feels like a waste to expend energy, and maybe just letting things flow naturally is the most peaceful and comfortable approach.

That's right. Going against the grain is annoying. If they're wrong, they say 'I knew it,' and if they're right, they brag 'See, I told you so.' I haven't encountered anyone who scoffs, so I don't know about that.
