I am Radio
A story based on true events ~ Synopsis ~ Anderson, South Carolina, 1976. The Hanna High School football team is training hard under Coach Jones. Meanwhile, Jones is concerned about a Black youth who frequently wanders around the practice field. He has an intellectual disability and always pushes a shopping cart alone…. It's quite heartwarming ☺️ Seeing the actual person in the video at the end was really great ✨ This depicts the relationship between James Kennedy (nickname: Radio), who, despite having an intellectual disability, continued to support the football team at Anderson High School in South Carolina, and the real-life coach, Harold Jones, who stood by him. Highly recommended 🫶

A touching story based on a true event, thanks for sharing! Just thinking about their interactions makes my heart warm. There's even footage of them? I feel like I'm going to cry buckets when I watch it!
