This is called 'cross-posting' or 'hijacking a thread,' and it's generally disliked by both the original commenter and the post author, so it's best to avoid it. If you absolutely must comment, it's better to preface it with something like, 'Excuse me for jumping in.' However, this should only be done when absolutely necessary; generally, you should refrain from doing so. It's like when you're talking to someone in real life, and suddenly someone else just butts into your conversation – you wouldn't like that, would you? I'm deliberately taking on the role of the 'bad guy' to comment on this. I would appreciate it if you could refrain from doing this in the future. Thank you for your understanding.
