Manga Introduction (ReLIFE)

I was looking for something to comment on regularly and thought, 'Why not promote my favorite manga or novels?' So, the manga I'll be introducing this time is 『ReLIFE』! It was adapted into a live-action movie in 2016 and an anime in 2017, and it's safe to say it's one of comico's flagship titles even now. However, comico itself is facing a sad fate, with its service scheduled to end on January 6, 2027. I'm also disappointed because I used to read ReLIFE on comico when it was serialized. No point in a long intro, so let's get to the main topic. The protagonist is Arata Kaizaki. After graduating from graduate school, he quit the company he joined right after graduation in just three months. He then strives to find new employment, but the fact that he 'quit after three months' weighs heavily on him. To make matters worse, his parents tell him they'll stop sending him money, putting him in a desperate situation. Amidst this, Ryo Yoake, who claims to be a 'ResLife Research Institute staff member,' approaches Kaizaki and says, 'Congratulations! You've been selected as a test subject.'... My honest impression after reading it is simply, 'I wish the ResLife Research Institute were real...' It's a truly interesting and great work, so I highly recommend it.
