Otaru Canal in May
This is the Otaru Canal in Hokkaido, a place I visited before. Many of the original canals and buildings remain, so you might be able to feel a bit of the old atmosphere (ïŸ)â¢Ïâ¢(ãŸ) Lately, there's been less snow, and there wasn't any around here even in May... lol

Even in Hokkaido, the snow in town melts away by May. Plus, Otaru is relatively warmer compared to other parts of Hokkaido. However, since it's located on the Sea of Japan side, the amount of snow in winter is quite significant. Maybe if I had climbed Mt. Tengu, I could have seen some lingering snow?!
Wow, the photos of the Otaru Canal are so beautiful! Thanks for waiting, sorry for the late reply! Places that retain their old scenery are so wonderful, aren't they? I want to see the view from Mt. Tengu someday too!
