For the final choice, I went with travel money, but I wonder which one would have been better? Also, if I went with travel money, is it better to sell it on a sales boost day?

Adding a million in sale price for silver would be better. Adventurer's Books include: ・Power Strike ・Precise Attack ・Fixed Body Shot ・Armor Pierce ・First Aid ・Predictive Attack ・Stun Bash ・Katino ・Madio None of these are compelling enough to be worth trading for a million gold. Also, you should naturally hold onto it until the sale price increases.
