Starting with such a shocking development, this is a series of interconnected short horror manga that is terrifying from beginning to end. (A female head priest... is it different from a nunnery?) (Why hasn't she shaved her head?) (And this woman... the sacred straw rope at the gate... could it be that not only the offerings are being contained, but this woman herself is prevented from leaving the temple...? Why...? For what purpose?) While intrigued by the mysterious female head priest, the horror of the subsequent strange occurrences will blow your mind. The temple, protected by layers of defenses. The way these defenses are systematically breached. And the terrifying events recorded in the strange occurrences that match this. The female head priest isn't flustered at all, but it's still scary. Personally, this is the scariest horror manga I've read recently. The terror of irrational, uncanny phenomena attacking, beyond human comprehension. It's probably a kind of irrationality akin to natural disasters.
