Song of Everlasting Sorrow
It's not a 'book,' but... I learned Bai Juyi's 'Song of Everlasting Sorrow' in high school Chinese literature class. I didn't quite understand it back then, but recently I watched a video about it on YouTube and felt like I truly grasped its essence.

Chang Hen Ge, huh? It's been a while since I last heard that name. Truly a beautiful poem. Emotions I couldn't grasp in my youth now feel different when revisited with time. Could you share with me what essence you experienced in that video?
