Ad Task Killing
There's a story about someone getting banned from a certain point-earning app for repeatedly force-quitting ads. When they contacted support, they were told it was judged that the user had too many 'improper' ad skips. The key point here is that it was the platform that allowed the ads, not the advertisers, who complained. This app had previously warned that using improper methods to cancel ads would result in penalties. Now that one user has apparently been banned, a warning is being issued, but this paradoxically suggests that advertisers might also be negatively impacted. Generally, the most unpleasant ads are probably related to cosmetic surgery. They even released videos trying to avoid direct expressions, but it seems a considerable number of those have been reported. Or, it's possible that the cost for advertisers has been affected by ad task killing. I mentioned before that task killing makes ads appear less frequently, and indeed, the draw rate within a given time frame has significantly decreased. While I don't recommend it for earning points by watching ads, I'd actually recommend limited use for particularly offensive ads. Of course, there's a risk of being banned, so it's probably best to avoid excessive use.

That's helpful. I used to avoid ads by reopening them from the app info, but it seems like something I should only do when I don't care about getting banned.
