🎂Edogawa Ranpo Sensei📚️

Today is the birthday of the novelist Edogawa Ranpo! ✨ I'm a big fan. I first got into his work with the 'Boy Detectives' series when I was in elementary school, and in junior high and high school, I really enjoyed his slightly scarier stories like 'The Human Chair' and 'The Walker in the Attic'. While bizarre or hallucinatory novels might not be uncommon these days, it's truly amazing to think these stories were conceived in the Taisho to early Showa eras (1910s-1930s). What must their mind have been like? Truly incredible.
