I saw a short video saying that Acheron (Nihility), the first Aeon pickup in Honkai: Star Rail, is coming out. I'm thinking of returning because of that. Not too long ago, just having a character's base copy was enough to farm relics and set up their build to clear Chaos, Simulated Universe, and Echo of War on high difficulties. But now with the introduction of 'Erosion 2', it's become impossible. Even Genshin Impact, a sibling game, is designed so that a base copy is enough to clear the Path of the World's End on its hardest difficulty. If it's already this bad, I wonder how they plan to handle future power creep...
