When racing, you need to choose your items carefully. Depending on the race environment, check if there's a speed boost but a usage limit.

First off, they give fewer cards than when they gave gadgets. They're not even giving new gadgets. The number of wildcards you can hold is also limited. And the score needed to complete it has increased. I wish they'd just give gadgets like they used to. Sigh.
