When you first start, you have to clear stages with random weapons, which is really hard because it relies heavily on luck. (Actually, that's what makes it fun though.) Then, you unlock crafted seasonal weapons in the lobby, and after that, bosses will get one-shot in seconds. Once you get the farm buffs and drink buffs in the lobby, you'll start playing on hard mode with all sorts of modifiers stacked up. So, in this game, you eventually end up making overpowered weapons and cheesing your way through, rather than relying on characters.

It's fun and I like that I can earn money.

I'm stuck with a bug that prevents me from escaping, so I can't progress. Has anyone else encountered a similar bug?

I heard there's a mod with 100 buffs coming out on September 21st. It looks super fun. I was a bit disappointed with this season's mode, but will this one be any good??

If you kick certain Void bosses, they die outside the map, so you can't pick up Dark Star Coins.
