My opponent missed two Sticky Web attempts, and I hit my first Hyper Voice once and my second twice.

Can someone tell me its counters?

Today, we'll be taking a quick look at Umbreon. Umbreon is a wall Pokémon boasting incredible defenses with 110 Defense and 130 Special Defense, and it's a pure Dark type. Its weaknesses are Fairy, Fighting, and Bug, but Bug is practically a non-existent type, so it's mainly just Fighting and Fairy. It has a decent type matchup, resisting Ghost and Dark at 0.5x and taking 0x from Psychic. Its abilities are Synchronize, which inflicts status conditions on the opponent if Umbreon is afflicted, and Inner Focus, which prevents flinching. Both are a bit disappointing. The common move set includes Moonlight, Protect, Yawn, and Foul Play, though some prefer Toxic, Thunder Wave, or Confuse Ray depending on their preference. As you can probably tell, it relies on its defenses to stay put and spam Yawn. Trusting its insane bulk, it uses Yawn > Protect. If it's low on health, it recovers with Moonlight. However, if you try to sweep with Swords Dance to break through in one hit, you'll get hit by Foul Play, which gets stronger based on the opponent's attack stats, and get knocked out instead... The easiest counter is to use Taunt, which blocks status moves. This effectively shuts down Umbreon's functions. As it heavily relies on status moves, it's extremely vulnerable to Taunt.

This is where the problem started. So annoying.

I haven't been playing much lately because I'm busy..!! But whether it's in the main series games or Pokémon Masters, I feel like I have this condition where I'll die if I don't include my favorite Pokémon in the party.. lol. Luckily, my favorite is Sylveon.. hahaha How do you guys usually build your teams? To be honest, I only briefly played competitive for the Ribbons, so I don't really know much about this stuff..~😂
