I'm a total beginner (started 4 days ago) so I don't really know the rules. I only found out about stalemate 3 days ago... Anyway, I was playing with the AI and tried to avoid stalemate, but I ended up capturing the last pawn! So I carefully tried to win somehow, but I couldn't figure out any move other than one that would lead to stalemate. I looked at the hint, and it told me to do that. Why isn't that a stalemate? I really don't get it, please help.

My friend (on the right) was playing rapid, and the opponent blundered, leading to a checkmate in a few moves. But my friend missed it, giving the opponent another chance. That's why the graph went crazy in the middle lol
