I ate it when I went to Jeju Island. I heard it's made by boiling pork bones with seaweed. It's really savory and delicious! If you go to Jeju Island, You should try Momguk!

Visiting Subaekdang for the third time today! Today, I tried a different menu item: Sundaeguk Kalguksu (blood sausage soup with noodles). The spicy aroma that filled the air as soon as the food arrived was totally my jam. The moment I took a sip of the broth, its rich, deep spiciness filled my stomach with a satisfying weight. The chewy noodles, perfectly coated without being mushy, clung delightfully with every bite. What impressed me most was the generous amount of toppings filling the bowl. Every scoop revealed plump, bouncy sundae (blood sausage) and tender meat, ensuring there wasn't a dull moment until the very last bite. Rolling the meat around the noodles and taking a huge mouthful was a truly moving textural experience. And to finish off the meal, of course, dessert was ice cream!

I went there back in April and it was seriously delicious. Definitely check it out if you ever travel to Gangneung lol It's a place called Kappo Tsukiyowa in Gangneung Shilla Monogram, and the presentation of every dish was absolutely stunning... Especially the assorted sashimi platter – it had a great variety and the slices were thick, so it was incredibly tastyㅠㅠ There was also a dish with shrimp, sea urchin, and salmon roe, which was a real delicacy...👍 We ate other things besides sashimi, and overall everything was delicious, so I was very satisfiedㅎㅎ If you like sashimi, I highly recommend giving it a try!

This is my absolute favorite menu item. If you get the Assam base with coconut pearls and medium sweetness, it's just perfect. They say it's like nectar of life when you're having a tough time haha

Went to Sorae Port to get some fresh air. I was debating whether to buy some seafood or eat there. Maybe because the weather was nice, but the outdoor tent area with tables was packed with people, impossible to find an empty seat! I managed to find a spot in one of them and ate there. Steamed Clams (Medium) + Clam Noodle Soup for 2. Scallops are love..........♡

I bought a lot when I went to Gunsan, but it couldn't beat Sung Sim Dang, which is only a 15-minute bus ride from my house. The one in the container is from the Gunsan Cookie Association, and the egg tarts are delicious.

This weekend, I came to Chuncheon, my father's hometown, for an outing with my family. Dakgalbi is a must-have when you're in Chuncheon! Instead of going to crowded places like Myeongdong or noisy restaurants, we headed to 'Hoban Dakgalbi Makguksu' on the Dakgalbi street in Oin-dong, a quiet local favorite spot that Chuncheon residents frequent. The dakgalbi served on the iron plate had large chunks of chicken and was packed with ingredients. As the steam rose and the dakgalbi was fully cooked, we ate it with crisp cabbage. The chicken was moist and tender without any gamey smell. The seasoning was perfectly absorbed, making it slightly spicy yet clean and not overpowering, thanks to the sweetness of the vegetables. After enjoying the chicken, we perfectly finished with udon noodles and cheese fried rice. The combination of the savory, melted cheese fried rice and the chewy udon noodles on the iron plate made for a great meal.
