Spicy Beef Brisket Pho Beef Brisket Pho Vietnamese Rice Bowl My preference is always spicy lol I love the bright red color!!!!! The Vietnamese rice bowl is apparently made with Vietnamese braised meat and onions simmered in sauce. It kind of feels like slightly dried beef jerky stew lol At first, I was like, what is this? Why is the meat so tough? But once you accept that it's supposed to be like that, it has its own charm haha

Since yesterday, all three meals a day have been bread. Haha, and today too! Hehe, I'm so happy, I'm overflowing with power.

The day I truly enjoyed Jackson Pizza 🍕 Spreading them all out on the table made the visual alone pure happiness... We tried various kinds, from Super Jackson, Pepperoni, and Five Cheese to Bacon Cheddar Jalapeno and Legend! Couldn't forget the chicken tenders and fries, so we munched on those too 😋 The toppings were generous, and each pizza had a distinctly different flavor, making it fun to pick and choose a slice of each. Personally, I loved Jackson Pizza even more because I could try multiple menus at once! Looking at the photos makes me want to eat it again...🍕🤤

When you go to E-Mart Traders, there are always some staple items people buy a lot of. I always get the Yangjangpi lol Others often buy sushi or pizza! I tried a different menu item and it was so delicious that I wanted to share it. Eohyangdonggo (Stuffed Mushroom) Chicken Thigh Skewers The chicken skewers are, well, you know the taste. But the Eohyangdonggo was a surprisingly amazing treat!! It's fried shiitake mushrooms with a dish that tastes like Palbochae served underneath. It was seriously so, so delicious ㅠㅜ It's not always available when I go, so I can't eat it often. But if you see Eohyangdonggo, buy it and try it! You really won't regret it ㅎㅎ

For lunch today, I was craving tonkatsu after a long time, so I went to a specialty restaurant near my company! The menu I chose was the 'Sang Rose Katsu,' which includes pork collar. It came out as a neat set with rice, soup, and salad, alongside kimchi, pickled radish, and pickled chili peppers. The freshness of the salad and the savory soup perfectly balanced the richness of the fried cutlet. The visual alone is impressive. The chewy fat layer, characteristic of pork collar, releases a rich, savory flavor. The trapped juices burst with moisture in my mouth, just like in the picture – it's truly exquisite. Especially when paired with the Himalayan salt provided, the umami is maximized. It allows you to fully savor the meat's natural tenderness and deep aroma, more so than dipping it in sauce. I was extremely satisfied!

There's a Hanwoo specialty restaurant in Bangi-dong called Myeongrang Chulsan. They have their own farm in Yeongju, Gyeongsangbuk-do, so they deliver directly. That's why it felt even more trustworthy and fresh. That set menu is 59,000 won, but these days even pork costs around 45,000 won, right? It was my first time wrapping brisket with yukhoe, but it was so rich, creamy, and tender that it just melted in my mouth. On my way home from work, a friend contacted me to have dinner together, so I went to a handmade curry specialty restaurant in Wonju. I usually love curry, so I said OK without hesitation! As soon as I entered the store, it was a system where you order via kiosk, and the menu names were very intuitive and unique. hahaha Korean Curry Korean Hambak Korean Assortment Korean Chicken Cutlet Among them, I ordered 'Korean Hambak'. While chatting and waiting with my friends, as soon as the food came out, I was amazed by the wonderful visual. The individual meal comes with kimchi, soup, and crispy garlic flakes. The combination of the thick hambak steak with melting cheddar cheese, rice topped with a fried egg, and the light curry sauce surrounding it was excellent. I was especially impressed with the quality of the hambak steak. Despite its considerable thickness, the inside was very moist with its own juices, and it was so tender that it cut smoothly as soon as the spoon touched it. It was more filling than I expected and gave me a great sense of satiety.

This is Bowal Kalguksu, introduced as Kim Gwang-gyu's neighborhood favorite on Jeon Hyun-moo's Plan. Since they also said the stew and rice set here is good, I ordered the Bowal Kalguksu and Cheonggukjang (fermented soybean paste stew). I really enjoyed the Bowal Kalguksu, but the downside is... Even if it's not geotjeori (fresh kimchi), there should at least be some regular kimchi with kalguksu, but this place doesn't have any kimchi ㅠㅜ Anyway, I had a great time eating the thick and savory Bowal Kalguksu!!

I got takeout again today, it's Big Star Pizza! Not only is it delicious, but they also have 3XL sizes and the prices are a bit cheaper than other places, so it's great for family gatherings too. I recommend it as a pizza place with great value for money!

Boiling it up with a fiery red broth and even fish cakes on skewers. With simple but perfect side dishes, while eating the glass noodles and fish cakes first, you get to the perfectly cooked chicken!! Too bad I don't have a picture of the fried rice ㅠ The cauldron is so big it looks like there's not much food, but two adults with big appetites ate and had leftovers to take homeㅋㅋㅋ
