Kekkaishi

This is [Kekkaishi] by author Tanabe Yellow. It was serialized in Weekly Shonen Sunday from 2003 to 2011 and concluded with a total of 35 volumes. The story revolves around clans that use a unique form of sorcery to create rectangular spaces, trapping and destroying yokai. There is a mystical land called Karasumori that attracts yokai, and the story features the successors of two kekkai families, Sumimura Yoshimori and Yukimura Tokine, who have carried on the family business for 400 years to protect this land. There are also various other ability users and yokai involved, making it interesting to watch. Although the power level drops a bit towards the end, it's still not bad.

Isekai Shokudou (Restaurant to Another World)

It's a manga where a lot of food comes out, but it also features the small stories between people. I'd recommend the anime a bit more than the manga. It's great to watch while eating! It's not too heavy or too light, making it perfect for killing time!

Fullmetal Alchemist

This is the legendary manga [Fullmetal Alchemist], serialized by Hiromu Arakawa from 2001 to 2010. With its perfect plot foreshadowing, captivating characters, and profound themes, it's a masterpiece that's always mentioned when discussing well-made manga. The alchemist brothers, Edward Elric and Alphonse Elric, attempt to resurrect their deceased mother through human transmutation but fail. In the process, Edward loses his left leg and right arm, while Alphonse loses his entire body and has his soul bound to a suit of armor. The main story follows the two brothers as they embark on a journey to find the 'Philosopher's Stone' to regain their lost bodies. I believe most people know about it, but I'm posting it because it's a work that's close to the perfect standard of shonen manga.

[Spoilers(?)] Attack on Titan's Attack on School Caste

This is the Attack on School Caste, which appears from the middle of the manga. It also makes a brief appearance in the Attack on Titan movie's credits. You can't see it in the main anime series, so if you want to watch it, please check out the manga or the movie.

March Comes In Like a Lion

This is [March Comes In Like a Lion] by Chica Umino, famous for Honey and Clover. The story centers on Rei Kiriyama, who lost his entire family in a childhood traffic accident. He goes to live with his father's friend, a professional shogi player who becomes his adoptive father, and dedicates his life to shogi. After debuting as a professional in middle school, due to various circumstances, he ends up living alone in the outskirts of town while also attending high school. Through a chance encounter, he meets three kind sisters and begins to heal. It's a work that won the Grand Prize at the Japan Media Arts Festival Awards in 2011 and was also a commercial success. The manga is still ongoing, published irregularly due to the author's health issues.

[Spoilers] Attack on Titan Back Cover Collection

The back covers neatly show the survival status of the main characters. Personally, I like the scenes depicting the opposing sides. Though in the end, everyone becomes united.

[Review] Attack on Titan

A perfect work, from manga to anime. My favorite OST is Linked Horizon's 'Guren no Yumiya' (Wings of Freedom). The protagonist, Eren (called 'Ellen' in the manga), had lived his entire life confined within the walls. These walls were humanity's last line of defense against the Titans, and within them, humanity lived in relative peace. That is, until the day in 845. In 845, the Colossal Titan and the Armored Titan breached the outer wall, leading to the fall of Shiganshina District and Wall Maria. Humanity's remaining territory was then confined to Wall Rose and Wall Sina. Eren loses his mother in the attack and, fueled by a desire for revenge, he joins the Survey Corps, the only branch of the military that ventures outside the walls. Alongside Mikasa and Armin, he sets out to explore the world beyond. My number one masterpiece is Fullmetal Alchemist. Attack on Titan ranks lower. What's truly amazing about Attack on Titan is that even before the original final episode was released, translated versions appeared on illegal sites first. It's truly an incredible work.

[Review] The Original Sin of Takopi

It's only two volumes, but it's truly a crazy masterpiece. It's perfect from start to finish, leaving an incredible lingering feeling. Some of the chapter titles even remind me of Attack on Titan. Takopi (an octopus-like character with a speech pattern ending in '-pi') is an adult from Happy Star. His(?) dream is to make humans happy using Happy tools. Takopi meets Shizuka, a girl being bullied at school, and wants to make her happy, so he uses a Happy tool. However, there was a rule that had to be followed when using the Happy tool. That rule was that the tool must be used within the sight of the Happy adult. Takopi broke that rule and lent the Happy tool to Shizuka, and because of that, something irreversible happened. So, Takopi uses the Happy Camera to turn back time and struggles to make Shizuka happy again. Well... it's only two volumes, but you'll understand why it became a hot topic once you see it. It features several shocking scenes, but the ending and the content are both perfect.

[Review] Look Back

An incredible one-shot masterpiece by Tatsuki Fujimoto. It's a must-read manga for anyone who loves comics. The protagonist, Fujino, loved to draw, but her artistic skills were mediocre. However, her storytelling was engaging. Fujino heads to Kyomoto's house to give her a graduation certificate, as Kyomoto has been absent. Kyomoto was a talented artist, unlike Fujino, and Fujino didn't particularly like her at first. However, after Kyomoto expressed her admiration for Fujino's work, they quickly became close. Although they received an offer from a publisher, Kyomoto decided to part ways with Fujino, wanting to pursue art school. Left alone, Fujino publishes a manga called 'Shark Kick' and continues to serialize her works. During this time, she hears about an incident on the news and is shocked. It's an incredible work, despite being a single volume. The meaning of 'Look Back.' To look back, to look behind. You'll understand which is correct after reading the work.

[Review] Fire Punch

This is a work by Tatsuki Fujimoto, a genius of one-shots. His representative works include Fire Punch, Look Back, and Chainsaw Man. Fire Punch is incredibly shocking right from the first chapter. You can't even compare it to Chainsaw Man. The protagonist, Agni, lived with his younger sister. In the world where he lives, special ability users called 'Blessed Ones' are born. However, due to a Blessed One known as the Ice Witch, the world is plunged into a perpetual winter. Agni is a Blessed One with the power of regeneration; his body parts heal even when damaged. However, for committing an act that humans should not do, he is attacked by Doma, who has the blessing of unquenchable fire. As a result, he loses his younger sister and the villagers, and he himself suffers from the unquenchable fire. Thanks to his regeneration blessing, he doesn't die, but it takes several years to get used to the flames. After that, he embarks on a journey to get revenge on Doma. Personally, I liked the ending. I'm into convoluted stories.
