Just noticed that you can get the badge by hatching just 2 eggs! As observant players might have seen, two identical pets appeared in the top-left chat window, and I still got the badge lol You probably don't need to hatch both pets, and since I'm a Plus user, I hatched two at once. Looking at the journal design, it seems both Neon and Mega are possible. Since they can be obtained not only from Memory Eggs but also from Basic Eggs and Admin Eggs, it looks like they won't disappear and will remain in the future!
