Speaking of which, bragging about my kid. It's my favorite character, and since it's my first legendary shiny, I'm raising it with great care without worrying about its stats. Even if I had a better Groudon, I'd only use this one :D

I'm having a really hard time memorizing the type matchups. Any advice?

My best is a 100 IV, 3200 CP Salamence.

1. Long-press the Berry pouch or Ball pouch. 2. While long-pressing, use your other hand to throw a Poké Ball. 3. If the ball hits, release the long-press. 4. The Berry or Ball pouch will open; quickly close that window. 5. Tap the 'Run' button in the top-left corner. Advantage: On days with many wild Pokémon spawns, like Community Day, you can catch them quickly without missing almost any. Disadvantage: You have to check each Pokémon's individual stats.

Throw it diagonally! If you started from the right corner, throw towards 11 o'clock. If you started from the left corner, throw towards 1 o'clock.
