Survivor!.io used to be a game I saw everywhere, so I remember playing it quite a bit when it was trending lol. At first, it seemed simple, just moving one character and continuously taking down waves of enemies, but there was a subtle thrill in choosing skills one by one, combining them, and wiping out enemies coming from multiple directions all at once. It felt especially satisfying when the screen was full of enemies and skills chained together, clearing them all out in one go. However, as I kept playing, I felt like it got a bit repetitive and boring at some point lol. So, after playing hard for a while, I'd close the app when I got tired of it, and then reopen it when I felt like it and play a few rounds. It wasn't that I quit completely, but rather I'd take a break when I got bored and then come back, which is how I kept finding myself drawn to the game lol. I think people who played it when it was popular will know this feeling.
