Handsome Jo In-sung and Hope

I personally like actor Jo In-sung. I like him so much that I watched the movie 'Hope,' which everyone else disliked, twice in theaters just to see Jo In-sung. If I had more time, I would have watched it a third time. He looked a bit disheveled but handsome haha. The way he swaggered around in those stylish red pants was quite cute. There's a long scene where he rides a horse, and he's really good at it. Totally likable~ Meanwhile, after seeing behind-the-scenes footage that looked like it was shot at the risk of their lives, I thought, 'Is the director out of his mind?' But then I remembered it was Na Hong-jin, so I guess I shouldn't have expected anything. Personally, I feel like 'Hope' is a movie where you watch the actors' incredible ensemble rather than the story. The pacing felt erratic, sometimes long and sometimes short, but I thought it was watchable. I really thought the CG was well-made. The aliens were so grotesque... but also kind of beautiful. Because the story unfolded so haphazardly, it took me two viewings to understand the aliens' narrative... Go, you slightly pitiful aliens!
