Finally Done
Managed to complete Castle Level 18 with just 2 hours left before the deadline. It was surprisingly tough. I don't think I could have done it without joining a guild. The time it takes is more of an issue than resources. I bought speed-up items from the guild shop whenever possible and used gems and those items to make it happen. Resources were more plentiful than in other games.

I gave up after reaching level 8 and trying to get to level 11. Lately, people in the community are saying to skip gems, so I guess I'm skipping the tedious hidden ones too.
