Once you get eggs, hatch them. Rex eggs are very easy to incubate, so a few Dimetrodons are enough to hatch them. You can also use a campfire. Hatching takes about 2 hours on single-player and 3 days on a server. On single-player, you can prepare for boss fights with just imprinting. However, on a server, since it takes 3 days for a Rex to hatch, you need to set an imprinting alarm. It takes a long time, but if you put them in a cryopod and repeat imprinting, you can get 100% imprint without an alarm. So, for the final helpers, the Megalania and the Ferrocodon will feed them until they reach 10% imprint, and the Ferrocodon can give a 2x imprinting buff.
