Thoughts on Concrete Utopia & Concrete Market

I watched both Concrete Utopia and Concrete Market at home, and they were both really fun. I don't usually like disaster movies, but I heard Park Bo-young was in it, so I watched it, and it was a great choice. I didn't know there was a series called 'The Bequeathed' (황야) too? The titles were so different, I never would have guessed. I might watch it later. I enjoyed both. For Utopia, I watched it hoping the couple played by Park Bo-young and Park Seo-joon would be happy~. For Market, I watched it thinking, 'Oh, Jung Man-sik's acting (I can't remember his name exactly)... it's so infuriating~'. Utopia felt like it focused on how things fall apart? It had a vibe of tragedy brought on by greed. Whenever they showed scenes of scraping the absolute bottom, I felt a bit weird. It felt too harsh. With Market, I liked that there were moments where the protagonist clearly needed help from others, so it didn't feel like they were just making the main character a genius. If only the protagonist is a genius, it can feel a bit cringey, but this movie had less of that. It was fun.
