Why I Draw Male Characters

Honestly, I was terrible at drawing male characters. So I just kept drawing female characters all the time. Then one day, I was browsing TikT and saw someone showing their progress from day 1 of drawing to getting better and better. So I also started drawing male characters from day 1 on the Plo community. People praised me and gave me feedback, so I kept drawing, and my skills gradually improved. Then, around day 11 or 12, I got really burnt out from drawing... haha I stopped drawing and even stopped using Plo. But then, I occasionally posted my drawings on Plo, and someone named Shuri asked me if I wanted to join the board in the comments? So I joined, and wow... is this heaven? After joining the artist board, I started drawing again. I learned by looking at others' art and drawing, and my skills improved again. I think I was able to come this far by rediscovering and drawing male characters again. For these reasons, I still draw male characters now. Do you all have any particular reasons or triggers for what you do?

Haha, I think it was really good salesmanship. I also often think while looking at ReviseExGirlfriend's posts that you draw really diligently... It's something I truly envy! For me, the start of drawing was because my favorite YouTuber was good at drawing, so I naturally became interested by trying to copy their art. And then, through various fandom activities, I ended up drawing diligently like that too... lololol
