Sagrada Familia, a Cathedral Shaped by Gravity
When you hang a string, gravity directly draws the most stable curve. If you flip this and take a picture, it becomes the blueprint. It was a typical Gaudí idea to call buttresses 'crutches' and reject them. The reason it took 144 years to complete is also due to these complex curves.
