Brahehus Castle Ruins
These are the Brahehus Castle Ruins near Gränna in Jönköping County, Sweden. It's a castle that Count Per Brahe the Younger, a 17th-century nobleman, began building in the 1630s. However, it was destroyed by fire in 1708 and remains a ruin. It's famous for its beautiful scenery, with views of the lake and green landscapes through the castle's arched windows. Located above Lake Vättern, the stunning scenery, including the vast farmlands spread out below, attracts about 10 million visitors annually (according to the Swedish Tourism Board).
