Omurice

It might not look like much, but it's delicious. The kids love it, so I make it often. The egg got a little overcooked.. Adding my recipe with some modifications. I don't measure precisely, I just eyeball it each time, so exact measurements are tricky haha 1) Stir-frying the rice: Just like a basic fried rice, sauté diced ham and veggies, season with soy sauce and oyster sauce, then add plenty of ketchup, butter, and a splash of vinegar for a tangy flavor before adding the rice and stir-frying. 2) Omelet layer: I'm not great at making omelets.. so I lightly oil a pan, pour in the egg mixture, and once it's more than halfway cooked, I place half of the rice from step 1 onto the egg. Before the egg is fully cooked, I fold the other half over to create a half-moon shape. Then just plate it and you're done~~
