I can't understand

Naryun is from Liyue, so why is she eating materials from Natlan? It's the same with Idyia. She's a robot from Nordlys, so shouldn't her ascension materials be mechanical parts? I get that they gathered mechanical parts from various nations in Teyvat to build Idyia, like Exodia, but I really don't understand what the connection is between Idyia and the Natlan warrior whistles.
