Silver Grass, Fountain Grass, Bristlegrass, Japanese Silver Grass

These are common grass family plants seen in autumn. They look similar, often spotted along roadsides, but you can distinguish them by their seed heads. Silver grass with multiple drooping strands, fountain grass standing tall like a big foxtail, bristlegrass that looks like many small grains clustered together, and Japanese silver grass resembling a brown dog's tail.. I feel autumn has drawn even closer.
