[Review] Fruits Basket Another

This story follows the children after the original Fruits Basket. You can probably tell who's whose kid just by looking at their faces. It's not just about the children; it also features love stories of characters whose relationships were ambiguous after the main story, so if you enjoyed the original, you'll likely enjoy this too. Unlike the original, no one transforms into one of the zodiac animals, but through conversations between Mutsuki Soma and Hajime Soma, the curse of the zodiac on the parent generation is lightly touched upon. For reference, the story flows similarly to the main series, but the part about who receives healing is different. Personally, I was very satisfied with this work because the characters who suffered in the original Fruits Basket all found happiness in this side story. Well... after all that suffering, they deserve to be happy. Isn't the heroine Mito Sawa's image too similar to Tohru Honda's? Do the Soma family members have a type for girls like that? Anyway, you might mistake it, but the cover of the first volume is Mito Sawa, not Tohru Honda.
