The Generative and Destructive Cycles of the Five Elements💕

The Four Pillars of Destiny (Saju Palja) are composed of four heavenly stems and four earthly branches. The 10 heavenly stems and 12 earthly branches each have their corresponding Yin and Yang Five Elements assigned to them🤔 The Five Elements are Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, and Water, and these elements have relationships with each other. ✔️ Generative Cycle (Mutual Generation): - Wood generates Fire: Wood fuels fire. - Fire generates Earth: Fire burns all things, making the earth fertile. - Earth generates Metal: The earth holds minerals or preserves seeds. - Metal generates Water: Underground resources hold water or benefit moisture. - Water generates Wood: Water helps trees grow well. ✔️ Destructive Cycle (Mutual Overcoming): - Wood overcomes Earth: Trees take root in the earth and grow. - Earth overcomes Water: Earth absorbs or contains water. - Water overcomes Fire: Water extinguishes fire and prevents overheating. - Fire overcomes Metal: Fire melts and refines metal. - Metal overcomes Wood: Metal tools cut wood. ✔️ It's not that generation is good and destruction is bad. Generation means helping and nurturing, while destruction provides stimulation, regulation, and checks, which act as catalysts for development💕
