My first Chinese historical drama
I got into Chinese historical dramas after watching 'The Legend of Zhen Huan' (also known as 'Empresses in the Palace'). Has anyone else seen this one?? I've rewatched it countless times, and I still watch it occasionally when I think about it lol It's an older drama, but the production scale is huge, and it's really glamorous... and beautiful... After starting with this, I ended up watching a lot of Chinese historical dramas and palace intrigue dramas. What was everyone else's first Chinese historical drama?

The Legend of Zhen Huan, huh? Your taste is impeccable...โช It's the quintessential palace intrigue drama...โก I remember staying up all night watching Scarlet Heart too. It seems you and Yelming have very similar tastes...โฉ

Wow, I'm 'I'm Not Able to Love You' (Wow, I still remember the title..) I got into dramas with the one where Lin Gengxin played a friend who becomes a lover. Korea did a remake too but it flopped, which made me sad.

OMG, I also watched 'The Legend of Zhen Huan' and loved it!! My first Chinese drama was 'Beauty's Rival in Palace', but after watching Zhen Huan, I really got hooked on palace intrigue dramas lol ๐ญ I also really enjoyed 'Story of Yanxi Palace', so I wish they'd keep making palace intrigue dramas... It's a shame they aren't coming out much these days ๐ฅ
