Dr. Romantic

The first drama I'd like to recommend is Dr. Romantic. This drama, which first aired in 2016 and has had 3 seasons produced, is a representative South Korean medical drama. Set in Doldam Hospital, a humble rural hospital in Jeongseon, Gangwon Province, it tells the story of a genius eccentric doctor, Teacher Kim, and the young doctors who pass through the hospital, growing into true physicians as they save patients' lives. Season 1 Talented doctors from a major hospital, each with their own painful stories, ambitions for success, and frustrations, end up at Doldam Hospital. Young doctors Kang Dong-joo and Yoon Seo-jeong, who only looked towards success, meet the eccentric mentor Teacher Kim, who refuses to compromise with power, and they find answers to the question of why they became doctors. Season 2 Three years after Season 1, this season deals with Doldam Hospital suffering from more severe financial difficulties and external pressures. Seo Woo-jin, a financially struggling surgeon living under debt and misfortune, and Cha Eun-jae, who experienced setbacks due to operating room anxiety, join Doldam Hospital. Under Teacher Kim's guidance, they heal their wounds and regain their youthful convictions.
