[Review] Shaman King

If you're going to watch it, it's better to go with the complete edition of Shaman King rather than the old one. First off, the cover art is beautiful, the translation is cleaner, and most importantly, the ending is different. The old version ends with Hao becoming a princess, but the complete edition presents the true ending. Well... if Hao is happy, maybe the princess Hao ending isn't so bad. It's a story about the protagonist, Asakura Yoh, participating in the Shaman Fight, a battle to decide the strongest shaman, and fighting to become the Shaman King with omnipotent power. Yoh has a fiancée named Kyoyama Anna, and she is also a powerful medium, voiced by the amazing Megumi Hayashibara. A remake anime aired in 2021, and the voice cast remained almost the same. Also, the ending and opening themes were sung by powerhouse singers like Megumi Hayashibara, Yui Horie, and Nana Mizuki, so it's definitely worth watching the remake. Personally, I really like Hao. He's the strongest character in the series because he's modeled after Abe no Seimei, and most importantly, because he's Yoh's xx.
