Doctor Cha

The second drama I'd like to introduce is 'Doctor Cha'. This drama aired in 2023 and stars Uhm Jung-hwa, Kim Byung-chul, and others. 'Doctor Cha' is a drama about Cha Jeong-suk, a 20-year housewife who becomes a first-year resident, and her journey to mend her fractured life. Cha Jeong-suk, who had lived her life for her family as a full-time housewife, faces a sudden serious illness, prompting her to re-examine her life. During this process, she discovers her husband's shocking secret, which completely shakes her world. Ultimately, Cha Jeong-suk rediscovers her long-forgotten dream and begins her residency training to become a doctor after 20 years. It's a heartwarming and humorous coming-of-age drama that depicts a woman who put her own life on hold for her family, as she finds her way back to herself. The drama offers the fun of watching whether Cha Jeong-suk can successfully complete her residency training started at a late age, and how she will rebuild her life.
