Zombie Detective

Today, I'd like to introduce a drama that aired in 2020: Zombie Detective. It stars Choi Jin-hyuk, Park Ju-hyun, Kwon Hwa-woon, Tae Hang-ho, and others. This drama has a unique premise where a zombie works as a detective. It tells the story of Kim Moo-young, a zombie who resurrected two years ago, living in the human world to find his past and working as a detective. He gets entangled with Gong Sun-ji, a former investigative journalist, and they solve cases together. When you think of zombie content, you might expect a dark and scary atmosphere, but Zombie Detective adds mystery and comedy to the zombie theme, making it surprisingly light and fun to watch. Especially, the comical scenes that arise from Kim Moo-young's struggles to adapt to human society as a zombie and his process of solving cases made it a drama that could be enjoyed without feeling too heavy.
