Mr. Sunshine

Today, I'd like to introduce the drama "Mr. Sunshine," starring Lee Byung-hun and Kim Tae-ri. Many of you might have already seen this drama, but I suspect many haven't, which is why I decided to recommend it. Honestly, just looking at the poster, it seemed like a heavy and tedious period drama, so I didn't think it would be interesting... Although it finished airing a while ago, I recently stumbled upon it while looking for something to watch. The story begins when Eugene, the son of a slave who left Joseon, returns to Joseon as a US soldier. The poignant romance between Eugene, who was abandoned by Joseon, and Ae-shin, a righteous warrior trying to protect Joseon, is impressive. And the chemistry between Eugene, Goo Dong-mae, and Kim Hee-seong – these three men – truly brought laughter throughout my viewing experience, haha. It's 24 episodes long, so it might feel a bit lengthy... but if you haven't seen it yet, I think it's worth watching at least once.
