It's great to have freedom living alone, but...
Having to prepare every meal and do all the chores myself is a pain. When I lived with my parents, I never had to buy shampoo, conditioner, body wash, or especially toilet paper with my own money. But now that I'm living alone, I have to buy all the necessities myself and take care of them. It kinda feels like I've become an adult. For those of you living alone, how do you handle daily necessities? Nowadays, even buying just one shampoo and conditioner makes my hands tremble because it's so expensive, haha.

I used to be the type to buy a ton and stock up. My home could absolutely never run out of supplies...!!

Right? I also felt it was such a waste to buy toilet paper with my own money at first. It really feels like you've become an adult, doesn't it? Like me, it's better to stock up on large quantities when they're on sale.

Hehe, enduring the realm of freedom. From now on, everything will be a choice, and though it will be tough, you'll stand on your own well^^ Fighting!

If possible, I buy large-capacity products and store the ingredients frozen like meal kits to cook.

I agree lol. But it's great that so many brands are opening shops in Daiso these days, makes me feel so secure ㅠ I really like the ones from existing brands that set up shop there, not the ones Daiso made themselves.

When you live alone, everything costs money. You end up saving up to buy cheaper delivery food.

That's right.. When you first live alone, you think you only need rent, but once you live there, everything costs money.. Food, daily necessities, various utility bills, and even trash disposal costs money.. For daily necessities, buy in bulk. For groceries, try to buy frozen or things that can be frozen. For refrigerated items, even if they're expensive, buy only what you'll use.. Buying a lot just because it's cheap often leads to throwing it away ㅠㅠ I'll cheer for Tsukinousagi's independent living!!

I lived alone for a bit too, and when I tried to buy all the daily necessities with my own money, it cost way more than I expected.. ㅠㅠ I didn't realize it when I was living with my parents, but buying everything myself felt like a burden..

Still, the memories of living alone when I was young are supporting me now.

Gotta live frugally, right? Every moment I breathe costs money...

I know, right? When you live alone, everything costs money. You end up subconsciously trying to save on daily necessities. I go to Daiso often when I need to buy things.

It's weird how necessities run out all at once haha. I used to buy them in bulk and use them.. If you can get food from your parents' home, get some kimchi, doenjang, gochujang, and rice. It's a huge help.
